My name is Evan Bell, and I work as a union organizer in Silicon Valley at SEIU-UHW. Prior to this, I worked as an organizer for security officers at SEIU-USWW. I left my job in 2018 as a senior advisory consultant at MGO to pursue other passions. Previously, I worked as a senior analyst for Harvey M Rose Associates, LLC in San Jose. Before that, I worked as a government and general assignment reporter for the Hollister Free Lance in Hollister, CA, a mostly agricultural and industrial town in CA’s central valley. I graduated from Arizona State’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications with a master’s degree in mass communications. During the summer of 2013, I worked as a wire news reporter for Cronkite News Service in Washington, D.C. CNS works to provide Washington-based content for Arizona publications. You may find my most current resume here.
I received my BA in Politics and Philosophy at Lake Forest College, which is roughly 30 miles from Chicago. I have fond memories of the school and my education. However, I do not have fond memories of the cold.
I see your name listed on Ballotpedia as a candidate for Congressional District 16. Are you in fact running and if so, do you have a campaign email that Clean Water Action might send you a questionnaire for possible endorsement?
Hello! I did file with the FEC, yes. And I don’t have a formal campaign email. But you can send anything to my email, ebell1987@gmail.com, and I’ll take a look at it. Thanks!
